Through kidney surgery

Bob is through the surgery and the urologist did find a few large clots that he got out of there, and they think most of the bleeding is still due to the catheter, so they are just going to try and get it so it doesn't move around as much.  Which is hard because Dad is constantly rolling from side to side.  But due to his many areas of concern they don't want to take him off the ventilator.  So he's is headed back to the ICU where they can slowly extabate him.  He is in post op now and will soon be up in the ICU.  Thank you for all your prayers, Praise God for getting us over just another hurdle on this journey.  Ill keep you posted. Aloha,
Katelyn

  1. Wanted to share Ephesians 4:23-24
"You were taught to be made new in your hearts, to become a new person...Made to be like God__made to be truly good and holy."
So, Bob I picture the healing and renewing of your heart (your heart valve surgery) and all the miracles of medicine and Doctors and the treatment experts that God has surrounded you with are there to help you become the healed, whole person! You're already a good guy and God does the work of making us holy in His time and the way he sees best for us.
We pray, we trust, and we believe in miracles and you are a miracle being miraculously made new. I keep seeing you at the helm of your boat, which I now refer to as the ARK! Maybe I should call you NOAH, HA, HA.
Praying for you is now like breathing in and out...we don't stop.
Love in the Light of Christ who keeps you in your sleeping and waking and through all things,
    Debbie-Do

  3. God's peace be with you all!
I was in Orofino yesterday, then making the loop over to Kendrick. I stopped by the church to say a special prayer for you all where I can so easily picture you. By God's grace it was unlocked and there was a secretary there to give me the the news of the blog. Katelyn, you are so! very awesome - talented and mature beyond your years.
Reading the blog, and the news of the surgeries already behind you and with the heart surgery still to come, I was reminded of a song that I used to sing to Kele. I haven't played the old tape for years now, but the message I loved was "see those scars, precious scars, signs of all He's brought you through". They are reminders of how the right surgeons, with God's guiding hand, were able to put into action His healing.
Our prayers are for you all as you go through these days of worry, frustration, hope, dashed hopes, then hopes again. Know we all are praying for you to have the strength you need, that you get the rest you need, and that Bob's healing is absolute.
    With aloha,

We got a laugh from the reference to the "Rolla Roaster Team", pretty funny.
